What is this blog about?
This blog is about a specific few genres and sub genres of music. Lounge, ambient, chillout, downtempo, Balearic lounge, a chill vocal trance.

Why?
I have been a lover of electronic (or now happily it's own culture, EDM) music all my life. My second favorite genre was anything orchestrated or classical. I discovered lounge and chillout music less than a decade ago, and have now dubbed it my favorite type of music and am extremely passionate about it. I have always thought of it as those two genres combined, orchestrated and electronic. The emotion and energies it evokes I would love to share with the world.

How often will I post?
In a perfect world, every day. I will shoot for every other day, and realistically it will happen at the very least twice a week. What do I plan on doing with this blog? Besides for sharing a passion and hopefully building that passion in others, I would like to do two things - I would like to change the way people "understand" lounge music and eventually if the blog becomes more popular I would like to host discussions.

Relax - 
If I could magically do anything to people from this genre I would entirely take out the, "It's just sex music" preconceived thought/opinion from people's heads. Unfortunately, the genre sometimes does not help with that itself, since the "opinion" is a selling point. To try to accomplish this myself I will try my hardest to pick Youtube videos that do not have provocative images or video. This way I can also make the blog safe for work and younger audiences.

Remember, it's all about relaxing. Sit back, grab some good speakers and let it take your soul on a journey.

Blog Kickoff: Sweet Coffee - No Ordinary Love

After much waiting and planning and being lazy I am finally launching the blog! Please read the "About this Blog" post for much information regarding what and how I post. It will be helpful, promise.

 As a first post, I chose this track. The original is from Sade, but I feel this version is a bit more updated and a lot more like the chillout I aim for.
